Caroline and Dan's relationship is full of beautiful destinations! They currently live in San Francisco and take frequent trips to CA wine country to explore and indulge their passion for wine. They got engaged on a private island overlooking the Barrier Reef in Australia and they will be getting married in picturesque Sun Valley, Idaho next month. However when it came time for their engagement session there was only one location that was the perfect fit.....not San Fran, Napa, Australia or Sun Valley but Duke University in Durham, NC.
Caroline and Dan met at an ugly Christmas sweater party when they were both attending Duke University - Caroline finishing up her senior year and Dan in business school. Duke was the perfect backdrop and way to come full circle for their engagement shoot with Kir Tuben (another Duke alum!). The couple also continues to honor the way they met by hosting an ugly Christmas sweater party every year (C&D - I am pushing for an invite this year!).
Caroline and Dan can't wait to share Sun Valley - a special place in their relationship and Caroline's hometown - with their friends and family. Their ceremony will take place at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church and the reception at Trail Creek Cabin at the Sun Valley Resort. Kir Tuben is a Florida girl who loves adventure & sunshine. She studied photography & documentary studies at Duke University. After graduating in 2011, Kir moved to Northern Virginia to start her own photography business. She believes that every moment in your life is a "photo op." She loves Netflix, music festivals and her cats, Tuna and Lobo.
