Lauren and Erik's first date was a little out of the ordinary. It was Erik's 29th birthday party! Props to Lauren who was brave enough to not only meet Erik but also over 40 of his closet friends all in the same night! A few years later, they would return to the location of that party, Rivermont Pizza in Lynchburg, VA, Erik surprised Lauren by proposing in the same spot.
Next weekend, they'll be joined by their closest friends and family to celebrate their wedding at the Thomas Birkby House in Leesburg, VA with our amazing associate planner, Lauren. While our dear friends at Bakerture Photography will be taking their wedding day photos, Lauren's sister, Megan Kaplar, a family photographer, captured their engagement photos.
