Rachel and Jonathan’s love story started like any classic 2010s relationship…online. Once these two quintessential Washingtonians (him a pollster and her working for a nonprofit) met they discovered they had many friends in common, as you do as a young professional in DC, and the rest is history.
Jonathan proposed to Rachel on a hiking trip in Vail, Colorado just about two years after their first date. Rachel knew that marriage was in the future but was totally shocked when he got down on one knee on the mountain.
