When Stacey describes Kathy she always says she is beautiful (especially when she smiles), trustworthy, loving, and hilarious - that the two of them laugh all of the time. It is clear that Kathy's hilarity, smiles and the laughter didn't stop once during their engagement shoot with the talented Soleil and Katie near Stacey and Kathy's home in Alexandria, Virginia.
That home is special to these two not just as the place they are building their life together but as the spot of their proposal (or really proposals!). Stacey came home one evening after work and Kathy said she had bought something for the house but Stacey had to find it. When she couldn't it Stacey blurted out that she had bought something as well. It was them Kathy's turn for a treasure hunt. After a few hot, colds and warmers, she found the ring and that was that. Kathy actually asked first, then Stacey asked and here we are planning a wedding.
