It should be no surprise to anyone that Arleigh and Devin's Meridian Hill park engagement shoot involved champagne. These two met in 2010 bartending at Founding Farmers and have been toasting together since 2012. These days Devin owns Copycat Co. and Arleigh is a bartender by trade who is currently staying home with their adorable little son, Jules. (Who, let's be honest, has stolen the hearts of everyone involved with this wedding!).
When it came time for Devin to propose he knew he had the right girl and he even had the right ring but he couldn't find just the right moment. After months of worrying about finding that right time he turned his car around one morning on his way to work and got down on one knee in front of Arleigh wrapped in a towel just steps out of the shower. Sometimes when you know it is the right one, the right moment is just about anytime.
We can't wait for these two to tie the knot this weekend at Longview Gallery with Lillie Elliot Photography, who also captured these adorable engagement photos. The wedding is going to be packed with personal details and we can't spill the beans yet but let's just say with this couple's line of work you know the guests are in for a good time (and a delicious cocktail or two).
