Christina and Kevin's October wedding has been 15 years in the making. The couple met in pre-calculus class 15 years ago at West Potomac High School. After dating a bit as teenagers the two went their separate ways and while their communication stopped, life stepped in an brought them back together. They reconnected later in college and have been together ever since - 8 years, 2 dogs and counting!
Kevin planned a dream proposal night for Christina last April. Kevin told Christina they were headed to Georgetown for a friend's deployment dinner who was being stationed in Iraq. While walking along the waterfront towards the restaurant he stopped, grabbed Christina and said "We actually aren't here for Sara today, we're here for you". Kevin dropped to one knee and asked the love of his life to spend forever with him. After an excited yes they walked into the restaurant where Kevin had arranged for 75 of their family and friends to be waiting. They spent the night celebrating their relationship and knowing it was just a preview of fun to come on their wedding day!
